After creating the Audio-Visual Music Machine interactive installation and The Nyco Project’s first interactive EP we put together our debut filmed live-performance app for iOS to mashup multi-channel musical pieces. Jellymix became a reality in early 2014 with three palettes of video loops curated by us amongst the hundreds of videos in our videotheque.
Soon after that, the curators of inTRANSIT Arts Festival in RBKC commissioned us to create a downloadable mobile piece that represented the London council’s musicians community and an interactive installation. The installation exhibited in Acklam Village pop up cinema in summer 2014 and we released Jellymix 2 in late 2014, with 6 different palettes of video-loops showcasing all the artists we found scouting the borough for a period of three weeks.
These two apps are pieces of our history, before the Musicjelly Mashup app was built. We hope you like them.
